night at the fair in Webster

Lastnight we went to the fair with Jakob's sisters family. Her dad-Mike, stepmom-Magen, and stepbrother-Ethan. We had such a blast. It was so great being able to have Jakob spend time with his sister while we get to know the 'other side' of Jakob's life. There was this little bear thing, kinda of like the teacups, where you sit and spin while the whole machine is spinning. Well Jim, Mike, and the older boys were riding something else, so Magen and I took Belle(Jake's sister), Kait and Ethan on that ride. Belle and this other little girl were spinning it so fast that Ethan and Kait looked like they were going to throw up. All the sudden Kait says,"where's the seatbelts in this thing?" It was way too funny. Luckily, noone threw up including Magen and I. ha ha. We are so thankful to have such wonderful people in our lives. Hopefully there will be many more stories to tell of our adventures.

new place to call home

So we went today to look at a new place to call home. No luck! Maybe I need to stop being so picky? But is it too hard to ask for a clean house and clean yard? It's hard enough having to move from our place we've called home for almost 7 years now but geez.....anyways so todays not a good day. It seems as though Jim and I spend 3 hours a day looking on all the sites for a new place for us. We will be out in around a month and no place to go. Please pray that we will find a good priced clean home for our family!

Welcome to our crazy life!

Ok so I've been reading several of my family and friends blogs (is thats what you call them) for some time now and I love them so I've decided to do one of my own. First there's Jim (Daddy) , sometimes we like to call him the go-to guy. Whenever theres a major problem or issue that's out of our hands somehow daddy seems to take care of it all and work it out for us. Yes, I know everyone, I am lucky. It's just most of the time I am too stubborn to admit it. Ok then there's me (Mommy). I've got to say I have the most amazingly beautiful children I have ever seen. Although the children probably don't like me very much since I've started school they will learn to love me again when I'm a lot nicer :) If it weren't for them and my husband, I would have not made it this far. Every morning I wake to know that I've got 5 people counting on me to do my very best and finish school. Thank you Jakob, Kaleb, Kaitlyn, Emee, and Jim. I love you!! Ok well some of you may think we are crazy, but we number our children #1-4. This especially comes in handy when you've got to say something about them and they are around. Which is always :) Ok so #1 is 10 year old Jakey, well Jakob James. He is our glue to our family!! He's the strongest most kind-hearted child you will ever meet. Although we argue and disagree at times, without him my life would have not been complete. Now some of you know, but this is my step-son. Wow I dont even like calling him that because it's like I'm separating him from me and hes not! He's my son whether I've birthed him or not! Then there's #2 8 year old Kaleb Thomas. This is our retirement fund. ha ha ha! That even made me laugh. He's not very social or maybe a little more self satisfied than most, but if you just give him a little while and show him that you are interested in hearing his crazy science facts or history stories than he'll be your buddy forever. Jim and I laugh about this all the time. One morning I was packing his lunch and I asked him what he wants, he was so busy reading his book(reads at least 199 words per minute right now), that all that came out of his mouth was, "just fill it up mommy, fill it up"! Okay, then there is #3 our 5 year old Kaitlyn Faith. She is our princess. Whenever you need a good laugh I will lend you Kait. She is a 15 year old stuck in a 5 year olds body. Shes got more attitude and style then I believe I've ever had. I don't know how I would ever make it without her. Lastly, there's our suprise #4 - Emalee Grace. She has got to be the happiest baby I've ever seen. If she's not sleeping, she is laughing, dancing, or playing. She is already taking steps. I wonder if she will walk before her 1st birthday in June. She says "mama", "dada", "buh buh" for her brothers, "duh" for dog. Oh and this was too funny, yesterday she pointed with her hands to her crib and said, "no no no" and kept shaking her hand at it. She has such an uplifting presence wherever she goes. I never thought I could love this many people soo much. God gives us mothers many gifts in life, if we choose to accept them and use them. Thank you Jim, Jaey, Kaleb, Kait, and Emee for supporting mommy through school. I love you!!
